2015 Conway Family Reunion
On August 15 descendants of Patrick Conway and Mary Barry of Ballyea met at the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon for a family reunion. At our last reunion 20 years ago, approximately 50 attended from Ireland, England, South Africa, and United States. In 2015 the numbers were up to ~70, drawn from Ireland, Canada, and United States. Festivities ran from the early evening through the early morning (surprise), and included wonderful dinner, drink, conversation, laughter, song, and lots of reflection with story, photographs, and family trees. Picture taking, both from the professional photographer Paul Corey and the attendees, was everywhere.
